Tennis Wimbledon, the 3rd Grand Slam at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, London, England on Sunday, July 14, 2024, is the final between Carlos Alcaraz, world number 3 from Spain, who is the defending champion, and Novak Djokovic, world number 2 from Serbia and a former 7-time champion.  ( superwin636 ) 

The pair were a rematch of last year’s final in five sets, with Alcaraz winning in a thrilling 3-2 affair to claim his first Wimbledon title.

Back at it again, Alcaraz got his revenge with a great start, winning the first two sets with the same score 6-2, 6-2 to lead 2-0. 

In the third set, Djokovic accelerated and regained his form, saving three championship points and breaking serve to tie the game at 5-5, tying the match at 6-6 and forcing a tiebreak. However, Alcaraz was the stronger player and won 7-4. 

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic 3-0 sets 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) in 2 hours and 27 minutes to win the 2024 Wimbledon Championship and successfully defend the title, as well as his 4th Grand Slam title. 

Alcaraz also tied the record for most Grand Slam titles won at age 21 or younger in the Open era (starting in 1968) by Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Mats Wilander.
