foryou1688 Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted he could have organised his side better before Declan Rice ‘s free-kick opened the scoring in Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Arsenal.

Courtois believes that if he had added a wall to protect the first free-kick, he would have had a better chance of saving Rice’s shot, but admitted that he was unarguably unable to prevent the second.

” I think I had a good position on the wall, ” Courtois told Movistar.

“ Normally I would add another wall, I am responsible for that, I should add another wall but I don’t think he (Rice) can curve the ball that much and the second goal was a great goal.

“It was an unnecessary foul, not in a dangerous area. Maybe we shouldn’t have committed that foul.” ( foryou1688 )
