    The star took on a consulting role with the Redbirds in December after retiring last summer, and admits the job is not easy, with the player saying it was easier as a player.

    “I can tell you that being a footballer is easier than what I do now. I’m learning, being humble, it’s a different perspective than what I’m used to, but I’ve got good people around me,” Ibrahimovic told CBS Morning in the US.

    “As long as the team wins, it’s fine. But the problem is when they start losing, okay, it’s a problem that I can’t influence the game like I used to. You have to change your mindset, your emotions, your experiences and pass them on to other players.”

    “A lot of people ask me if I’m acting, but I’m not. What you see is what you get. Where I come from, it’s important to have confidence.”

    “You have to stand up for yourself. You want to prove that you are the best and I always loved playing football at school and in the local area. I had that confidence of, ‘I am the best, who is going to take me?'”

    “It’s important because when you step into the world and I’ve played where Christian (Pulisic) is, 50 per cent is mental. If you’re not strong you don’t survive.” ( superwin636 )
