Inter Milan’s website has confirmed the shirt numbers for the 2024-25 season. Poland midfielder Zielinski will take over the number 7 shirt, while Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi has chosen number 99. ( sunlit1688 )

Zielinski, who joined from Napoli on a free transfer after his contract at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona expired, will take over the No. 7 shirt from Juan Cuadrado, who only wore the Nerazzurri shirt for one season.

Taremi, who also signed on a free transfer after his contract with FC Porto expired, decided to choose the number 99 shirt because he could not use the old number 9 which was still owned by Marcus Thuram.

Another new signing is Spanish goalkeeper Josep Martinez, who joined from Genoa for an expected fee of €13.5m. He will wear the number 13 shirt, which has been vacant for two seasons since Andrea Ranocchia left.

Other regular players are not expected to change their jersey numbers, such as captain Lautaro Martinez who will continue to wear number 10, and Yann Sommer who will continue to wear number 1.
