The four assists for the 17-year-old on Saturday have all come in the knockout stages, against Georgia, Germany, France and the final, where he set up Nico Williams’ opener.

The promising Barcelona forward has been named the best young player of Euro 2024. 

Yamal also holds many other records, such as being the youngest player to play in the Euros, the youngest to score, and the youngest to play in a final, as well as winning the trophy.
