“Second half we wanted the players to start well, start controlling the game, we wanted them to be more aggressive, to have more space but we did the opposite. We played direct balls to their goalkeeper, direct balls, got into trouble again with direct balls and the referee gave a penalty which changed the course of the game,” Arteta said.

“I’m here to give my opinion after watching it 15 times. In my opinion, there’s no way it was a penalty because if it was, (Jake) O’Brien would have been sent off and Everton would have played with 10 men, that’s clear.” ( sakidbet )
