vox888 Jayden Daniels returned to limited practice but it’s unclear if he’ll start Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Jayden Daniels returned to partial practice Friday after recovering from a rib injury but will be evaluated ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, NFL Network reported. vox888

“Jayden was able to practice today,” Quinn said. “We really followed the plan that we had in place since the beginning of the week. We’ll evaluate how he responds to the work we’re doing over the next 48 hours, but today we tried our best. We’ll make the best decision for him and the team.”

Daniels has been limited in practice and it’s unclear whether the No. 2 rookie draft pick will be available to play against the Bears on Sunday. 

As Quinn added, ‘I think the answer is you feel good, like you don’t feel pain to play. How does your body respond? When you’re really pushed to play, I think that’s what we need to see. The testing is still going on to get to that point, but it was a good day.’

Daniels suffered a rib injury in last week’s win over the Carolina Panthers, with Marcus Mariota taking over and leading the team to a commanding victory. ( vox888 )
