Toffees reject Marseille loan offer for Mopey pgzen

The 28-year-old forward has just 12 months remaining on his contract at Goodison Park and has fallen out of favour under Sean Dyche, having scored just once for the Toffees since joining from Brighton in August 2022. ( pgzen )

Last season, the Frenchman was on loan at Brentford, where he scored eight goals in 31 appearances.

He was named on the bench as Everton lost 3-0 to former club Brighton on their opening Premier League game of the season on Saturday, coming on as a substitute for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Beto and Youssef Chermiti.

Calvert-Lewin is in the final year of his contract at Goodison Park and has yet to sign a new deal, although talks have been underway since late May.

Meanwhile, Everton are in talks to re-sign goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on a free transfer.
