The Lions are not giving up on Goal! Liverpool’s Kelleher is in the running pgzen

The Sun Football reports that the Blues currently have four senior goalkeepers in their name: Robert Sanchez, Philip Jorgensen, Marcus Bettinelli or Lucas Bergstrom.  ( pgzen )

At the end of the 2024-25 season, Kepa Arrizabalaga will return from Bournemouth on loan, Georgi Petrovic from Strasbourg, Gabriel Slonina from Barnsley, Mike Penders from Genk and Eddie Beach from Crawley Town. 

However, it seems that Chelsea executives are still not satisfied with the 25-year-old Kelleher’s outstanding performance for the club, while the Irish national team recently had a bad day, losing 0-5 to England in the UEFA Nations League, so they want to coordinate with head coach Enzo Maresca. 

The 1.88m keeper is a modern goalkeeper who uses his feet to build up from the back, is good at escaping press, and has a powerful shot with both feet. His current contract runs until 2026 and he is valued at £35m.  

It will be interesting to see what Kelleher ‘s future holds, as Alisson Becker is still around , and the club have already agreed a deal to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia.
