    The Argentine midfielder scored the winner in Thursday’s 1-0 league win over Spurs and has now been directly involved in 15 goals this season, more than in his first 18 months at the club.

    Asked about comparisons between Enzo and Lampard, Maresca said: “I think Enzo is a good player for us – we are happy with Enzo, but Frank is a different type of player at the moment.”

    “I think Enzo has improved a lot after the initial problems we had working together. His understanding of the game is completely different now.”
