superheng1688 New York Giants GMs Joe Chen and Brian DeBoll have not ruled out adding a quarterback in this year’s draft.

New York Giants head coach Brian DeBoll said the Giants are not considering a quarterback with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 draft, despite signing veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason, NFL Network reports.  superheng1688

“Yeah, I think everything is on the table. We’re still working through it,” DeBoll said of selecting a quarterback in the draft later this month. “There’s still two or three weeks (before the draft), but we’re working really hard, not just with the quarterback, but with all the players.” 

‘So we’ll do what we think is best for the football team, but I’m not going to rule anything out.’ 

“Since I’ve been here, we’ve tried to put a team together on draft day that we can play on draft day,” Giants general manager Joe Chen said. “I feel like we’re at a point where, with that approach, you’re not pushed into a corner or forced into something. We’re at a situation now where you have to look at the roster and say, ‘Okay, throughout the draft, where can we upgrade? ‘

‘We’re not done yet. We still want to upgrade. We have five options in the top 105. We can choose any position. So we’re not going to rule anything out.’ 

If the Giants take Sheader Sanders or another quarterback at No. 3, it’s because the Blue Devils believe he deserves a high pick in this year’s draft, and DeBoll said they’ve been working hard this offseason to look for improvements for 2025. 

“We’ve worked hard with these quarterbacks, whether it’s free agent quarterbacks, college quarterbacks,” DeBoll said. “I’m happy to have Russ and Jameis in the quarterback room. I look forward to working with them. They’ve got some experience in the league. I look forward to getting them in the building on April 21 and getting to work on the game plan and everything you have to do with a quarterback.” ( superheng1688 )
