sudpung168 Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo has been tapped to take the same position with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Indianapolis Colts have named Lou Anarumo, 58, as their new defensive coordinator, replacing Gus Bradley, who will be fired after the 2024 season, ESPN reports. sudpung168
The Colts are looking to improve their defense after a dismal 2024 season in which they slumped to 29th in yards allowed per game at 361.2, leading to Bradley being fired as defensive coordinator.
While Anarumo had been the Cincinnati Bengals’ defensive coordinator since 2019 before parting ways with the Bengals after the season, the 58-year-old’s versatile scheme had attracted interest from several teams, leading to the Colts tapping him as their new defensive coordinator.
The Colts have previously interviewed other candidates, including former New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen, who is the likely candidate to become defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears under new head coach Ben Johnson. ( sudpung168 )
