The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for the absence of Ryan Chezier after agreeing to a two-year contract with free agent linebacker Jon Bostic on Sunday. ( lisbon365 ) 

Bostic played with the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, making 97 tackles, three pass deflections and one sack. The 26-year-old linebacker was drafted by the Chicago Bears. Round 2 in 2013 before coming to stay with the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions and Colts. 

The Steelers brought in Bostic to complement the defense following the loss of Chesier, who will miss 2018 as he recovers from a spinal injury that will affect his career. Bostic will join 28-year-old linebacker Vince Williams.

This is Pittsburgh’s first free agent signing following the release of William Gay, Mike Mitchell and Robert Golden earlier this week.
