Jokeres has been in sensational form for Sporting Lisbon this season, scoring 23 goals and providing four assists in 18 appearances in all competitions. 

European giants Barcelona, ​​Bayern Munich and Arsenal are all interested in the Swedish striker, while Manchester United have just appointed former Sporting boss Ruben Amorim as their new manager.

Varandas has spoken about the future of the 26-year-old striker, who has a €100m release clause, saying: “I can’t make any promises.”

“But if any club is willing to pay the release clause and the player himself wants to move, he can go. But I don’t think it’s possible in January.”
