Morris has worked as the Rams defensive coach for the past three seasons. He was head coach twice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-2011 and as interim head coach of the Atlanta Falcons in 2020. 

He has now interviewed or been requested to interview by the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, Seattle Seahawks, LA Chargers and Falcons, as revealed by Adam Schefter, ESPN reporter.
