Borussia Dortmund Germany defender Nico Schlotterbeck has wished Youssoufa Moukoko well in his new career after the 19-year-old forward joined Nice on loan with an option to make it permanent, Ruhr Nachrichten reported on Tuesday.

Moukoko was unhappy with his situation, having played less than he should have last season, and Borussia Dortmund also signed Seru Girassy and Maximilian Beyer to bolster their attack this summer, before the Black and Yellows let Moukoko move to Nice on loan with an option to buy, following Niklas Füllkrug’s move to West Ham earlier. 

‘I have a good relationship with Muki, I know he is a very good person, a very good footballer, but unfortunately he has not played much here recently, that’s why this move was the right decision for him.’

“I just wish Muggi luck because he’s a good guy and a great footballer,” Schlotterbeck said. ( pgzen )
