Rud opens up about his future after Man Utd appoint Amorim as new boss 123overr

123overr Manchester United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed he would be open to returning to the role of assistant manager if the club gets a new boss and is keen to see out his current deal.

“I decided to come back here for a very important reason: I came here as an assistant,” Ruud said at his pre-match press conference in the Premier League. 123overr

”I’m here to help the club move forward and I’m still very motivated to do that, whether as an assistant or now as a caretaker manager and then (when a new manager is in place) I’ll go back and finish out the rest of my contract as an assistant. I’m very motivated to stay here and help the club move forward.”

For Van Nistelrooy, the team is preparing to host Chelsea in the English Premier League on Sunday, November 3rd. Previously, he led the Red Devils to a 5-2 home win over Leicester in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
