Rodri has been voted the winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or, beating out Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, who received 41 points. 

Last season, the Spain midfielder was in fine form as City won another Premier League title before helping the Bulls to Euro 2024 glory this summer.

However, he is currently resting and recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament injury that required surgery and is now out of action for the season.

Ahead of City’s first Premier League game after the international break when they host Spurs at home on Saturday, November 23, Rodri will be showing off his Ballon d’Or award to City fans at the Etihad Stadium.
