Ferdinand believes the main problem facing Josep Guardiola’s team is that they are not playing effectively without Rodri. 

“I think we were all surprised what happened to them, given their success over the years,” the former 2008 Champions League winner said. 

“Man City are unbeatable, winning four consecutive Premier League titles, writing their own history with success.” 

“But we’ve never seen Pep’s team as a whole look this bad. He has to find a way to electrify his boys, build up the performances and the confidence back.”
