pony88 James, Harden win Player of the Month awards

‘King James’ captured the Eastern Conference title with averages of 28 points, 8.2 rebounds and 8.5 assists, earning his 35th career Player of the Month award.  ( pony88 )

Harden has also been a standout on the West Coast, playing a part in 12 of 13 wins in November, averaging 34.9 points and 10.1 assists, his fifth since entering the league and the second-most in the franchise’s history, behind only ’80s legend Hakeem Olajuwon.  

Coach D’Antoni and his talented subordinate Harden were the Western Conference’s October-November Player of the Month.

Stevens, the top coach on the Eastern Conference

The Eastern Conference Coach of the Month award was also announced. Brad Stevens of the Boston Celtics, who is on a 16-game winning streak, was the winner. The Western Conference award went to Mike D’Antoni of the Rockets.
