But if he were to sell his skills overseas with a 6-foot-2-inch guard, I believe that there would be teams willing to hire him for a large sum, so he still hesitated about what to do. 

Beverley has played for a number of franchises, including the Rockets, Clippers, Timberwolves, Lakers, Bulls, 76ers and Bucks. 

The 36-year-old spent the first three years of his career in Greece and Russia before making his NBA debut in 2012-13, where he played 41 games for Houston. His best-known attributes include his fighting spirit and defensive prowess, which earned him three All-Defense honors. 

Last season’s average performance was 6.2 points, 2.9 points, 41.7% field goal accuracy (33.7% long-range accuracy) in 73 regular-season games against the 76ers and Bucks.

If he were to continue playing in the NBA, he would be suspended for four games for throwing a basketball into the stands multiple times during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference playoffs , which ended his run against the Indiana Pacers.
