Forest have launched a summer move for Nketiah and have agreed a fee of £30m with Arsenal, but have failed to agree personal terms with the England striker.

The Athletic reports that the deal between the “Foresters” and Nketiah has collapsed, with coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s team turning to Feyenoord’s Santiago Jimenez as a new option. 

However, Nketiah still has a chance to move out of the Emirates Stadium because Crystal Palace, another Premier League team, is ready to negotiate a loan with an option to buy.

Nketiah has been on the bench for Arsenal’s first two games this season but has yet to feature, and if he fails to agree a deal with Palace, Mikel Arteta is open to keeping him as fellow striker Gabriel Jesus has struggled with an injury. ( superwin636 )
