( moodeng )AC Milan have received positive news after tests on Mexico striker Santiago Jimenez revealed no serious problems and he is expected to be available for the next game. moodeng

Jimenez came on as a substitute in the 55th minute of Milan’s 2-2 draw at home to Fiorentina in Serie A on Saturday, but was forced off until the 80th minute with an injury.

Sky Italia reports that Jimenez underwent tests on his injury and the results revealed no serious problems, cuts or fractures, only bruising to his ribs and abdominal muscles.

Jimenez will now be assessed on a day-to-day basis, with Milan coach Sergio 

Conceicao hopeful the Feyenoord forward will be available for Friday’s clash with Udinese.
