    Arsenal returned to winning ways in their latest game, beating Nottingham Forest 3-0, with goals from Saka, Thomas Partey and Ethan Vaneri, with Saka’s goal assisted by Odegaard.

    Merson was impressed by the Gunners’ display at the Emirates Stadium and highlighted the difference Saka makes in Odegaard’s game.

    “I thought they were excellent. They started the game really well in the first half. It’s a must-win game. For me it’s the last chance. They have to keep winning like this and start the game well,” Merson said.

    “A great goal from Saka – Saka is a completely different player when he plays with Odegaard, when Odegaard comes on and they link up on the right, the way they play together in the same rhythm… it’s brilliant.”
