Merino joined the Gunners from Real Sociedad late in the summer but was unfortunately beaten by his teammate during training, fracturing his shoulder and only returning before the international break in October.  ( biggame1688 )

The 28-year-old is now fully recovered and ready to play for club and country. 

“I feel very good, strong and have forgotten about the fractured shoulder,” he said during Spain’s Nations League match against Denmark (Oct 12) and Serbia (Oct 15).

“I am very happy to be on this new adventure with my teammates. I look forward to fighting together.”
