Maresca frustrated as Fofana misses out for weeks zbet911

Fofana started last weekend’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa but did not last the full 90 minutes, limping off into the dressing room. 

The muscle damage is currently being assessed, but Maresca has said it will likely be several weeks. 

“At the moment there is no progress on the injury. Give me a little more time. I believe we will know more in the next 1-2 days,” he said before the game at St. Mary’s. 

“But for sure, it will probably not be available next week.” 

“Benoit Badiashile would be one solution, but we have a variety of players who can play there.” 

“It’s a significant blow because ‘Wes’ has been amazing in every game he’s played. However, we need to accept the reality and find a solution.”

“Reece James’ case is the same. He is gradually improving, but it will take another week before he can train again.”
