The Ukrainian goalkeeper is only contracted to Real Madrid until mid-2025 and there have been reports of him leaving throughout the summer transfer window, but he remains a Los Blancos player.

Marca recently reported that Lunin has made a decision on his professional future by agreeing to a new contract with Los Blancos, which will run until mid-2028. 

The discussion process has gone smoothly and an agreement has been reached, but we still have to wait for the famous La Liga club in Spain to confirm through the club’s media first.

It is expected that the process will be completed and confirmed before the end of this week, with all parties reaching an agreement without any problems, leaving only the clubs to announce. 

Last season, Lunin stepped in after Thibaut Courtois was ruled out for a long time with an injury, and the 25-year-old made 31 appearances in all competitions. ( pgzen )
