Italian media outlet Il Mattino reported that Napoli and Kvaratskhelia’s agent have reached an agreement on a new contract with the player, which will include a pay rise.

Kvaratskhelia currently earns just €1.5m per season, the same amount he has received since moving from hometown side Dynamo Batumi in 2022.  ( wilson88 )

But under the new contract, the 23-year-old technical winger will earn a salary of €5.5 million per season, with a further €1.5 million per season in bonuses.

The contract period will be extended from the original 2027 to 2029, with a one-year extension, but no termination clause will be included.

For Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, he will become more of an attacking midfielder after the team recently agreed to let Viktor Osimhen join Galatasaray on loan.
