Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht insists he has no concerns about Hason Reddick’s past issues after the 30-year-old linebacker signed a one-year, $14 million deal with $12 million guaranteed, NFL Network reports. kuiper999

Reddick had an eventful 2024, from demanding a contract from the Philadelphia Eagles to being traded to the New York Jets, but he still had contract issues and ended up playing below par in the middle of the season. He became a free agent after the season and signed a one-year deal with the Buccaneers.

“Not from a character perspective. Every situation is different. There’s a story behind everything,” Licht said of Reddick. “I think it’s over, and in some ways I’m excited about it. It gives us a chance to get something valuable. I hope he does well this year.”

‘He’s a really unique player. He’s got a lot to prove. He’s very hungry for success,’ Licht said. ‘I’ve enjoyed the conversations we’ve had since we signed him. He’s going to play and try to get another chance, which I like. He’s very excited to help the young players. He’s talked about that.’
