Kodma168 The Pittsburgh Steelers have no specific plans to select any one position in this year’s draft.
Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan has revealed the Steelers do not plan to select a player at any position in the draft later this month, but is confident they will be able to select the right player for the team, NBC Sports reports. Kodma168
Khan believes the Steelers have done enough in free agency and don’t need to pick a specific position in the 2025 draft.
“Our goal is to put ourselves in a position where we don’t have to pick a player at any one position,” Khan said. “And I feel like we’ve added some important pieces to what we’re trying to accomplish, and there are some really good players in this draft.”
‘There are a lot of guys in this draft that can help us at different positions and we’ve worked hard to make sure we’ve got our board right and there’s a lot of work to be done. These are three or four weeks that are going to be really important, but we’re in the middle of this and feel good about it.’
The Steelers’ biggest need right now is quarterback, and they are expected to sign 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers rather than select a quarterback in this year’s draft. The Steelers are also looking to bolster both their offense and defense, as well as their running backs. ( Kodma168 )
