Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton, 31, says he is recovering well since suffering a torn ACL early in the 2024 season and is targeting a return to the field “soon,” according to the Denver Post. ( Kodma168 )

Singleton played in just three games last season after tearing his ACL against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has made a good recovery and is expected to return to action with the Mustangs on May 27. 

“I can’t give you an exact date, but we’ll have a practice in the next few weeks and you’ll see for yourself how I’m doing,” Singleton told Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post. 

Any amount of practice on the field is good for a player who is recovering from a season-ending injury, but it remains to be seen how much the 31-year-old linebacker will be able to participate in during the offseason.

Singleton had four consecutive 120+ tackle seasons and 160+ tackles in his first two years in Denver before missing most of last season.

‘I think next week I’ll put the helmet on. I think that’s going to be a little bit of a happy moment. Then it’s the first off-season, these happy moments. And then training camp, I think it’s going to be cool to do those things and do that.’
