Hall was supposed to be a breakout player in the 2024 season, but he carried the ball 209 times for 876 yards and five touchdowns. He never carried the ball more than 20 times per yard and had five games with 10 or fewer carries, with only one more than 100 yards (113 yards in a Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills).
“I see it as well as everyone else does,” Hall said. “But like I said, if people feel like you’re not doing your job, you’re going to be replaced. That’s not happening. I’m still here.”
Hall said new Jets head coach Glenn called him to confirm the 24-year-old running back would be part of his plans.
“That meant a lot,” Hall said. “At first I was just like, okay, we’ll see what happens. Then the AG called me and said, ‘Breeze, do you think I want to trade you? ’ I said, ‘I don’t know. ’ He said, ‘Breeze, I don’t want to trade you. I want you to be here. You’re going to be here. You’re our running back. ’
‘And that made me feel good. Then I sat down and had a long chat with him and had him tell me the details. It was great to get to know him and everything and see how we were training, how he liked to compete and how he liked to put the ball down and let us play. It was fun.’ ( Kodma168 )
