The 27-year-old centre-back has attracted interest from several European clubs in recent times, prompting the Bianconeri to make further moves to keep him in the long term, before finally agreeing a deal.

Juve announced on Monday that Bremen’s contract had been extended from 2028 to 2029, with a higher release clause included.

For next season, Bremer will be working with new manager Thiago Motta, who arrived from Bologna.
