Jack Jones, cornerback for the Las Vegas Raiders, admits he was disappointed after being released by the New England Patriots, but the 25-year-old player also Ready to start over with the Black Pirate team as well. According to a report from ESPN last Thursday.  cosmo365

Jones played the game and lost. Indianapolis Colts on Sunday before the Patriots released the 25-year-old cornerback the next day, after which the Raiders agreed to acquire the former fourth-round draft pick. The Class of 2022 joined the team on Tuesday, with Jones admitting his pain at being let go by the Patriots. But there was also a lot of inspiration for starting over as a Black Pirate. ( cosmo365 )

‘I would say it’s not ideal,’ Jones said. ‘I can’t say too much about it. Just because I wasn’t on the coaching staff. I can’t tell anything. It’s just not the most suitable. But I’m glad to be here.’ 

Jones performed well for the Patriots in his rookie season, but things went downhill in 2023. But being abandoned didn’t make him hopeless.

‘That’s the team that drafted me. That gave me a chance,’ Jones said. ‘When you get drafted, It is your idea that you will spend the next 4 years there. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. But I’m glad to be here now.’

Meanwhile, Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pearce praised Jones’ ability to play with the ball. And it is believed the 25-year-old cornerback will add quality depth and competition at the back end. 

‘This kid has been through a lot,’ Pearce said of Jones. ‘I’ve known him since he was very young. Of course it was recorded. I have seen growth, development, no one is perfect. I don’t expect it to be perfect. That is my job as well, to take him with me and our team and our organization to help him if needed. An extremely talented football player. And I expect him to do that when he gets here.’
