The San Francisco 49ers are facing a problem just one week before the regular season begins after running back Jerick McKinnon suffered a knee injury in practice on Saturday, ESPN reports.  hotfuns

McKinnon signed a four-year, $30 million deal with the 49ers in March after leaving the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent and was set to be San Francisco’s offensive tackle for the 2018 season. 

49ers head coach Kyle Shenehan admitted he is concerned about McKinnon’s injury, and it’s unclear how serious it is and how long he’ll be out until the 26-year-old has an MRI. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that McKinnon could have a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee.  ( hotfuns )
