However, Fabrizio Romano reports that the two clubs have reached an agreement, with a fixed fee of €30.5m plus €6m in bonuses, while Girona will receive a 10 per cent cut of any future sales.

Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sport Italia also gave the same details, but the price difference is 33 million euros plus bonuses and a 10 percent share.

At first, Girona appeared to have agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid, but the deal fell through as the Ukrainian international was keen on joining Roma.

The 27-year-old forward scored 24 goals and provided eight assists in 36 La Liga appearances last season, also finishing as the league’s top scorer.
