Hammers listen to Forest bid for Ward-Prowse, but not in a hurry to sell hotfuns

According to Sky Sports, the 29-year-old midfielder’s style has not been to the liking of head coach Julen Lopetegui, who lacks aggression, and has therefore only been a substitute in the opening two games of the new season. 

This paved the way for the ‘Foresters’ to approach Ward-Prowse to the City Ground, which uses a No. 6 midfield system, so it is still possible that James could fit in. 

The Hammers are not worried because they have a contract with the player until June 2027. They can keep him for their own use first , and assess the price and interest in the market. Then, they will gradually adjust the price to be the opening sale price .     ( hotfuns )
