Manchester United are keen on signing Manuel Ugarte this summer but have so far failed to agree a fee with Paris Saint-Germain, with the player already open to a move to Old Trafford.  ( vox888  )

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Manchester United have backed out of a deal for Ugarte, believing PSG’s €51.4m asking price is too high.

Meanwhile, fellow journalist Ben Jacobs added that the Red Devils are now considering two new options: Fluminense’s Andre and Wolverhampton’s Joao Gomez. 

Andre, who has already played for Brazil’s senior team, is valued at less than €35m, while Wolves want more than €60m for Gomez, who are both 23 years old.
