New Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles is ready to use his experience as head coach of the New York Jets to his role as head coach of the Pirates after taking over from Bruce Arians, NFL Network reported Thursday.  ( gameintr88 )

Bowles, the Pirates’ defensive coordinator, became the new head coach of the Buccaneers after Arians announced he would step down to an executive role. It will be Bowles’ second head coaching stint as the Jets’ head coach from 2015-18, and the 58-year-old said there will be no changes to the program, just some additions. 

‘We’re not changing the program, we’re adding to it,’ said the Pirates’ new head coach. 

Bowles had his share of struggles as a head coach in New York, but he’s learned from that and will use that experience in Tampa Bay. ‘You just have to keep going to the next week. I think every week is a chore. You don’t carry your game with you every week. I feel like I did that a little bit in New York. ‘
