The Dallas Morning News reported that it was a role reversal, as Kidd was once Vogel’s staffer on the 2010 NBA champion LA Lakers before moving on to become the number one at American Airlines Center in 2021. They are both 52 years old. 

This is an agreement in principle, not yet signed in writing. 

Vogel’s path from the ‘Purple-Gold’ position in 2022 kicked up dust for a year, then the Phoenix Suns hired him to take the reins. The results were 49-33 in the regular season, but they fell to the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Minnesota Timberwolves, so they were fired. player1688
