Foxes eye Potter as manager after sacking Cooper vox888

    The Foxes’ home defeat to Chelsea was the final straw, leading the board to part ways with Cooper, who had only been in charge of the team this summer, having won just two of his 12 league games this season.     

    After the manager’s position became vacant, it was reported that Potter was one of the top contenders that Leicester City were interested in bringing in for the manager’s position. He has experience in the Premier League, having led Brighton to great performances before going to manage Chelsea, but was sacked from the position and has been unemployed since April 2023.

    He has previously been linked with Manchester United and interviewed for the Ajax job last year.

    In addition to Potter, there are a number of others who are expected to be considered, including David Moyes and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who are both unemployed, as well as Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick. ( vox888 )
