DFB set to sign Nagelsmann extension until next Euro pgzen

pgzen The German Football Association (DFB) has summoned representatives of Bundesliga coach Julian Nagelsmann to discuss the possibility of extending his contract until Euro 2028. pgzen

Sport Bild reports that the ‘Iron Eagles’ are playing football with new life under Nagelsmann, and importantly, they are giving new players a chance to try their hand, not just the same old ones. 

For this reason, the DFB executives want to keep the 37-year-old coach in charge beyond the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States. 

However, Nagelsmann’s side is not buying the plan because it is too far away, and wants to look at it step by step, starting with the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals , then the World Cup qualification in two years.   ( pgzen )
