Anderson Deco will not travel with Hansi Flick’s squad on their pre-season tour of the United States as Barcelona’s sporting director is working to finalise deals for Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams and RB Leipzig midfielder Daniel Olmo within the next 10 days, Diario Sport reported on Monday.  ( superwin636  )

Barcelona are awaiting Nico’s decision on whether the 22-year-old forward will join the Blaugrana, with the Catalan giants ready to pay his €58m release clause to prise the player away from Athletic Bilbao. 

Meanwhile, Deco is in talks with Olmo’s representatives to make a new offer to RB Leipzig after the Red Bulls rejected an initial offer from the Blaugrana, which was seen as unreasonable. 

Previously, Barcelona made a bid totaling 60 million euros, which is the criteria set by RB Leipzig for Olmo to leave the club, but the offer was too ridiculous to accept, as Barca will pay an initial 40 million euros plus a performance-based bonus of 20 million euros, but it will be paid in four installments of 10 million euros each over four years. 

Deco therefore needs to come back and make a new offer to motivate RB Leipzig to accept and let Olmo, the 26-year-old midfielder, move to Barcelona as the player wants.
