Roma started the season with a 0-0 draw at Cagliari last week and fans will be hoping for an improvement in their opening home game against Empoli.  ( wilson88 )

Before the game, the atmosphere in the team was positive after Paulo Dybala rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia to stay and returned to the starting line-up again. However, the Wolves were defeated by Empoli 2-1.

“I have to analyse the game in detail when I watch it again, but my first impression is that we lacked energy and intensity,” De Rossi said after the game.

“Especially in the first half, the passing was quite slow. If you pass slowly and don’t mark yourself, you lose the vision in the space and you get counter-attacked.”

“Then you lose confidence, and even luck is not on your side.”
