Man Utd have agreed a deal to sign De Ligt and Masraoui this summer, after agreeing to pay Bayern Munich a combined €70m for the pair.

De Ligt and Masraoui finally packed up their bags and boarded their flight from Munich to Manchester, England, on Monday.

Reporters tried to interrogate De Ligt at the entrance about a potential move to the Premier League, but the Dutch defender replied simply: “Nousser is waiting for me!”

The Red Devils’ two new signings are due to undergo medicals on Monday before signing five-year contracts until the summer of 2029, with the option to extend for a further year. 

De Ligt and Masraoui are expected to start training with their new team-mates on Tuesday ahead of Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United’s Premier League opener against Fulham on Friday night. ( superwin636 )
