Arteta is set to lead Arsenal in their first pre-season friendly in the United States against Bournemouth in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, before facing Manchester United and Liverpool on July 27 and July 31 respectively.

“We are playing on three different pitches, different pitches and different weather conditions,” ( wilson88 )

“The journey is different, the opponents are different, so it’s a good preparation for us,” Arteta said. 

The Spanish coach also spoke about the overall pre-season so far, saying: “It’s been very good since day one. We started in Marbella for two weeks and then had a week off. When the players came back to the pitch they were ready to go.”

After the end of the America tour, Arsenal will play two more warm-up matches against Leverkusen on August 7, followed by meeting Lyon in the Emirates Cup on August 11, before opening the Premier League at home against Wolverhampton on August 17.
