Carter ‘s No. 15 jersey was recently hung under the roof of Scottie Bank Arena , with speculation about who should be next.  

One of them is the name of shooting DeMar DeRozan, who is currently with the Sacramento Kings, but there is a dramatic backlash from Drake, a famous rapper and franchise ambassador, who disagrees with it. If he really retires his jersey, he will climb up and take it down himself.  

This time, we asked for the opinion of the Hall of Fame forward , nicknamed ‘ Air Canada ‘ . He suggested Lowry, the plump guard currently with the Philadelphia 76ers , because he has the qualities to play for the Raptors for a long time , has good conduct and was part of the historic 2019  championship.

“I think naturally we have to talk about Kyle, he’s the next one to retire,” he said on Fan Duel TV’s ‘Run It Back’.

“Looking at what he has, what he has given to the team and what he has done in his nine years as a Raptor,”

“Honestly, DeMar DeRosé is another one that fits the criteria, but I think because Kyle has been a part of the team’s NBA championship, we’ve played together for so long.”

“So if you ask me, Lowry is the one they shouldn’t overlook… but he should be the first to be considered.”   

Lowry played for the Raptors from  2012-21  and is now  38  years old ,  setting franchise records for assists, triple – doubles ,  steals and  3- pointers.    ( wintime999 )
