Diario Sport reported on Monday that Barcelona centre-back Inigo Martinez, 33, has returned to training and is available for selection in Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Borussia Dortmund.
Inigo suffered a minor thigh problem and was ruled out by Hansi Flick for Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Real Betis in the La Liga, but the 33-year-old returned to training with the team-mates on Monday and could be available for selection against Dortmund.
bully168 Flick is reportedly planning to bring in Inigo to replace Ronald Araujo for Wednesday’s game, with Pau Gubarsi, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde set to continue as the three mainstays in defence.
