Rodriguez is a free agent this summer after leaving Serie A side Torino, before deciding to join Real Betis on a two-year deal until 2026. ( sunlit1688 )

On Monday, August 5, Rodriguez travelled to Betis for a medical before signing and being officially unveiled.

The 31-year-old left-back has had spells with a number of clubs, starting with Zurich in his homeland, before joining Wolfsburg, AC Milan and, with a spell on loan at PSV, while spending the last four seasons at Torino.

As for the national team, he debuted in the senior team in 2011 and has played 120 matches, participating in three World Cups and three Euros, including the most recent Euro 2024.
