Lamar Jackson threw two touchdowns and ran into the end zone for another score to lead the Baltimore Ravens to a 30-23 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, helping John Harbaugh move past younger brother Jim Harbaugh to 3-0 on Monday, ESPN reported.  betflikth99

Jackson completed 16 of 22 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions. He also rushed eight times for 15 yards and a score, while running back Derrick Henry rushed 24 times for 140 yards. Wide receiver Rhadod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews each scored a touchdown. Running back Justice Hill scored the other score.

“It means a lot to me, as an older brother, I can’t lose to my little brother. That’s something I think he was thinking about a lot before the game. We came out and got the win today,” Jackson said of Harbaugh’s performance, which saw him beat his brother again.

It was the first time the Harbaugh brothers had faced off since Super Bowl 47 in February 2013, when John’s Ravens beat Jim’s San Francisco 49ers, before the younger brother went on to play for Michigan for nine seasons, leading them to a national championship before returning to the NFL as head coach of the Chargers.

The Harbaugh brothers hugged and shook hands on the field after Monday’s game. “I told him, ‘You’re a great coach and you’ve got a great team and I love you,’ and he said, ‘I love you and congratulations.’ It was great,” John said.

‘This is a big win for our players. I’m proud of the way they came out and responded. We were down 1-0 and our players stepped up. They were unfazed and kept fighting. They kept their eye on the details and played good football and won the game.’

Henry, meanwhile, was limited to just 13 yards rushing on three carries on the Ravens’ first two drives before blasting three carries for 44 yards on the third possession and finishing with 140 yards rushing on 24 carries. 

“It gives us a big boost, you know, it gives us a little bit of a boost and we can get into the end zone,” Henry said. “It happens that we can come together and drive and finish the drive with a score and get us going.”  ( betflikth99 )
